Issue 87

We are building features for the  Women Who Code community and we want to highlight that work with our stakeholders, you! THANK YOU to our contributors for dedicating their valuable time to help us build tech a  place where women can excel.

You can follow all of our work on github. Below are a few snippets of our awesome features.

Released

During this week's sprint, we focused on resolving some minor technical issues, implementing several new features, and building out the job board functionality.

On the back end, we resolved an issue that has existed since Networks started being associated with profiles, by renaming #network to reference the user's profile Network instead. We also set config.action_dispatch.show_exceptions to true in the test.rb environment config. And in design, we fixed a z-index bug that was making it impossible for users to fill out the first field in Network MailChimp signup areas which had custom header background images.

On the job board, we changed the email for "build plan" options in the job plans purchase table. This allows us to append a custom string to the email address sent so that messages can be better sorted. We also set up the companies contact page with a drop-down menu that displays all currently available plans, as well as a contact form with the fields email, # of jobs, # of visibility boosts, plan type, and message which gets sent to our company contact address.

In addition, we continued our expansion network page and profile functionality by implementing a feature that automatically creates mailing lists for each Network as members join.
