This Week
We want to use this space to highlight our fantastic contributors. Without their ongoing dedication and help these projects would not be a success.
This week we would like to give a big shout out to Lindsey Wells.
Lindsey has had an incredible and eclectic career, working in ASL interpreting, performing arts, arts administration, and small business consulting before entering tech. She originally got into coding out of curiosity, and when she realized that it touched on so many of her interests at once she decided it was the path for her.
A creative person that enjoys solving problems and helping people in tangible ways, Lindsey is currently working with a team of data scientists and developers to create a web app that aggregates data for tenant's rights advocates in NYC. She's also a night owl and a dog lover, and she is inspired by Lisa Seacat Deluca whom she describes as A woman who is able to use her creativity on a daily basis to explore and send her ideas out into the world, while also prioritizing time with her family and loved ones.
Released
This week we've been busy improving the functionality of our product and adding some features to allow greater admin flexibility. A check was run to remove redundant files, and we updated the way that coupons function and display in the subscription flow. We also added user notifications for manual job posts and added a button for this to the admin dashboard.
In addition, admins are now able to edit post URL slugs and view expired job posts.
Our Website
Our repo is private, yet running under an open source license. Instead of pointing to issues and PRs, we are going to include a screenshot of what our weekly pulse looks like.
