We are building pretty amazing features and we want to highlight that work with our stakeholders, you! THANK YOU to our contributors for dedicating some of their free time to making tech a place where women can excel.

This Week

We've decided to move the api functionality into the website. This means, we will stop development on the api repo and build the API directly on our website. In doing so, we are reducing the amount of apps we are currently maintaining, add member/user features more seamlessly, and use our existing modeling to drive the api direction. Thanks to the api contributors who have now moved over their contributions to our website!

Our Website

This repo is private, if you are not an existing contributor, you will get 404 errors on the below links. We are planning on open sourcing it soon!!!

Meanwhile, if you are interested in contributing to the website repo, please email core-team@womenwhocode.com with your github username. It's built in Ruby on Rails.

Job Board:

• Order comfirmations, you'll now get an email confirming your order! Issue and PR

Events:

• Creating an event just got easier. We account for the timezone for the given event in the backend so you don't have to! Issue, Issue, Issue and PR
• [Bug] We now handle cancelled events. Issue and PR

We are working on design for many of our app flows. In the meantime, there are issues to work on that are less design dependent. We welcome PR submissions for these issues!
