World’s Largest Community of Women Technologists Hosts Premiere Developer Conference Featuring Diverse Industry Leaders From Around the World

ATLANTA – MARCH 2ND, 2023Women Who Code (WWCode), a 320,000-member global nonprofit dedicated to inspiring diverse women to succeed in technology careers, is excited to announce the Women Who Code CONNECT Empower 2023 conference. On March 2nd, 2023, this premier developer conference features tech industry leaders speaking on various topics and hosting hands-on workshops for diverse attendees. 

Programming for WWCode CONNECT Empower 2023 includes a variety of keynote speeches, lightning talks, round table discussions, and workshops where participants can engage in real-world activities and learn skills that will benefit them in their careers. There are also networking opportunities available for attendees to meet one-on-one or with representatives from the many technology companies that will attend. 

Speakers for CONNECT Empower represent diverse leaders and innovators in the technology industry coming together worldwide to share their wisdom and experience. These include Priyanka Vergadia, Staff Developer Advocate at Google, Latesha Byrd, CEO at Perfeqta, Kristi Perreault, Principal Software Engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance, Melissa Hong, Founder & CEO at OMG Code representing Wix, Ashmeet Kaur, Director of Engineering at SiriusXM Radio, Arit Amana, Senior Developer Advocate at PayPal, Diana Frascella, Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at DraftKings, and Michelle Ho, Manager, Strategy and Operations at Deloitte Consulting.

Women Who Code CONNECT Conferences are held annually and focus on different topics and communities. Last year they had CONNECT Recharge in May, CONNECT India in September, and CONNECT LATAM in October. The organization also hosts nearly 2,000 technical and career digital and local events annually.
