World’s Largest Women in Tech Nonprofit Hosts Remote Conference Celebrating Industry Leaders Across Asia

ATLANTA – August 5th, 2020 Women Who Code (WWCode), a 501c3 dedicated to inspiring women to succeed in technology, is proud to announce the CONNECT DIGITAL India Conference 2020. This two-day event will bring together some of the leading minds in technology from around the world to participate in panel discussions, round table talks, networking sessions, and speeches on cutting edge innovations.

Women Who Code CONNECT DIGITAL India will take place on August 7th and 8th using the remote communication and networking platform Hopin. So that our community can stay connected at a time when we need it most, tickets are being offered free of charge. Technology leaders scheduled to speak include VMWare’s Vice President of Strategic Transformation, Lily Chang, Accenture Technology’s Associate Managing Director, Seema Joshi,  Women Who Code’s Chief Leadership Officer, Joey Rosenberg, and Google Engineering Manager, Smita Ojha

CONNECT DIGITAL India is the second event this year in the popular series of tech conferences hosted by Women Who Code annually. This year, in response to the realities of COVID-19, Women Who Code rapidly pivoted to move these events to a digital format, allowing them to be accessed by a wider audience from the safety of their homes. The first WWCode CONNECT conference was held earlier this year on June 5th, 12th, and 19th.

“CONNECT India is always such a powerful and important event for our members. I’m excited at the prospect of being able to bring so many people together to be inspired, share their expertise, and be a part of a community that offers a sense of belonging in the industry” said Women Who Code Chief Leadership Officer, Joey Rosenberg. “We are so grateful to our sponsor VMware, whose generous support of this event demonstrates their dedication to inclusion and equality in the tech industry.”
