Women Who Code is proud to announce that we are partnering with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) in the Americas in order to work towards a more diverse and inclusive tech industry. Thanks to the bank’s support, we will be able to continue our mission of inspiring women engineers to excel in their careers, while expanding our efforts through new Networks, outreach, and programs.

MUFG fosters a culture that proudly integrates inclusion and diversity into the way they do business. They also release a diversity report each year which promotes equality and transparency from within. MUFG is nurturing this partnership to enrich their internal Enterprise Resource Groups and build engagement and retention within their technology teams. By partnering with WWCode, they are reaffirming their commitment to those ideals while taking steps to make impactful change happen.

Right now, WWCode is a 167,000 member global community with local Networks located in 60 cities and 20 countries. We’ve hosted more than 8,000 free technical events, with an average of five taking place every day, and have given away more than $2.5 million in scholarships and conference passes. This partnership with MUFG allows us to continue that work while growing our efforts so that we can inspire even more women to be and become leaders of the technology industry.

MUFG is always investing in their growing teams as they enhance their capabilities and the way they operate as a business, in areas such as California, New York, and Arizona. Their flexible work style arrangements program may allow you to work completely remote or telecommute to the office 1-3 days a week. Please visit the Women Who Code job board to explore these opportunities.
