Welcome to Women Who Code’s special 10-year Edition Annual Report – a lookback at 2021 and the first ten years of impact as a community.

The Women Who Code story is one of inclusion, connection, and innovation – a story of tenacity where individuals and organizations from all over the world have come together to overcome barriers, amplify the voices of leaders at every level, and empower diverse women to excel in tech careers. We are excited to celebrate ten years of serving this community and building a world where diverse women are represented better across our industry as technologists and leaders.

Women Who Code creates exciting spaces and opportunities for diverse women, advocates for technologists who are historically underrepresented and marginalized in our industry, expands access to technical resources and programming and offers career navigation support. We do this work as a network of people committed to each other and the WWCode mission.

80% of WWCode members reported a positive career impact since joining WWCode. If that translates to a $3,500 pay increase, WWCode’s annual market impact already exceeds $1 Billion.

Women Who Code is the world’s largest and most active community of women technologists building a world where diverse women rise as engineers and technology leaders. Now, more than ever, we must activate our collective power to amplify the voices and contributions of those diverse women technologists. Together, we can ensure that they have access to the best opportunities and a more equitable experience.
